The man was found by the emergency services outside a house on Lenihan Avenue shortly after 12.30am in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Gardai from Roxboro were alerted to attend the scene and they say that the man was found on the steps outside the front door of the house in the city with multiple stab wounds and he was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up WhatsApp Twitter Linkedin However the man was later pronounced dead.The State Pathologist’s office attended the scene which has been sealed off and a technical examination of the area is being carried out by the Garda Technical Bureau.A postmortem is to be carried out on the remains.It is understood that the victim was known to gardai and was from the area. Image courtesy of Enable MidstreamEnable Midstream Partners said its unit, Enable Gulf Run Transmission, will develop the Gulf Run Pipeline, an interstate natural gas transportation project connecting U.S. natural gas supplies to LNG export markets on the Gulf Coast.The project is backed by a precedent agreement with a cornerstone shipper for a 20-year, 1.1 billion cubic feet per day of capacity firm transportation service.Subject to a final investment decision by the cornerstone shipper for the LNG export facility to be served by this project and approval of the project by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, up to an estimated 165 miles of large-diameter pipeline will be constructed from northern Louisiana to Gulf Coast markets.In addition, the Gulf Run Pipeline project will utilize existing Enable Gas Transmission transportation infrastructure to provide access to natural gas producing regions in the U.S., including the Haynesville, Marcellus, Utica and Barnett shales as well as the Mid-Continent region.The project is expected to be placed into service in 2022.Enable Midstream Partners noted a non-binding open season for the Gulf Run Pipeline project started and will continue through October 26, 2018, to gather additional interest for firm transportation capacity.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, Haiti recorded 96 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 6,582. The latest figures released by the Ministry of Public Health said that over the past two days, the country had recorded a total of 13 deaths, bringing the total to date to 130. CMC Haiti has the most cases of the virus, followed by Jamaica with 753 positive cases and 10 deaths. Guyana has a total of 286 positive cases and 16 deaths. It said that as usual, the majority of the new cases were men and that health authorities are treating 3,993 cases active cases while the number of suspected cases investigated since March 19, when the first case was detected, is 14,325 cases, an increase of 336 over the last set of figures. It said that the last seven cases were from the West Department, the North-East Department and the Airbonite Department, where four people- the majority- of the cases were recorded.
